Manufacturing Shop Supervisor

This is not a remote position.
Full Time. Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm
Compensation: Salary $78,000-$100,000/annually- based on experience

Responsibilities include:
- Manage shop floor departments to achieve quality, delivery and profitability
- Maintain scheduling provided by the Manufacturing Manager or Production Supervisor.
- Ensure pre-kitting of jobs
- Participates in creating and maintaining a setup reduction program.
- Provide employee coaching, development, and training
- Resolve employee issues through problem resolution
- Drive Continuous Improvement and Kaizen activity
- Run quality clinics
- Monitor employee’s performance and evaluate their effectiveness in production
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a safe work environment
- Review staff timecard, attendance tracking and timekeeping
- Handle shop floor employee issues
- Recruiting of shop floor employees
Skills/Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Aerospace or similar industry
- Hands on machining experience required (CNC/Polish/Inspection/Cutter Grind)
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in a supervisory role
